Ever since its inception in 2013 by the British philanthropist, Matthew C. Martino– the MMBF Trust has been having a dream run and has helped many aspiring artists from the creative arts fields to kick start their success. The success motivated them to form another new trust, the MMIF Fund in Feb 2016 that actually extends support to aspiring artists of various other creative fields.
The Trust has now decided to venture into the sports arena to promote budding talent. With this aim, they have joined hands with and decided to sponsor the MMBF Walton FC team, which is being coached by Kevin Hale. The team was formed in 2013 and they compete in the Liverpool County Premier under 18’s League.

MMBF Walton FC coach Kevin Hale said “After a hard first season at the helm of MMBF it’s been rewarding to see loyalty and commitment from the lads. When I arrived I had 6 players for training and 2 of them had jeans in! But now we have over 20 young lads aged between 14 and 17 coming and joining us for training and matches. My main aim is to develop the team in to one that will challenge at the right end of the table so the season coming is a period of hard work and transformation.”
Their previous management team left much to be desired and as such the team went to utter shambles. However, now with the MMIF Fund deciding to sponsor them, a new lease of life has been infused in the team and they are not looking forward aggressively to metamorphose their team and compete in the coming season, hopefully in the right end of the table. Fortunately, the young lads of the team hail from all nooks and corner of the city of Liverpool and their attitudes and commitments cannot be touted enough.
